Lotus Professional reports back from ISSA/Interclean ...

One of the key milestones on the Away-From-Home agenda took place in Amsterdam – ISSA/Interclean. The industry’s most important trade exhibition attracted almost 23,500 visitors and a record 651 exhibitors.

Certainly since last year’s outbreak of the H1N1 (swine flu) virus and the ongoing programs to promote hygiene from national governments and the World Health Organization, there is a heightened awareness of the important role that cleaning plays in protecting public health, reducing cross contamination and generally contributing to improved quality of life. So this year’s ISSA/Interclean was the perfect opportunity to display our line of Lotus Professional hygienic solutions. These included enMotion towel dispensers and the recently launched enMotion Antibacterial Foam Soap and enMotion Foam Hand Sanitizer.

We also highlighted some of the more recent innovations such as the nextTurn™ systems range composed of nextTurn™ hand-towel dispensers, soap dispensers and nextTurn™ Compact toilet paper dispensers. The nextTurn™ range stands for enhanced convenience and is particularly targeted at the HoReCa market (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafés), the public sector, hospitals and schools.

Customers could see them all on our Lotus Professional stand and we demonstrated once again that we have one of the most complete portfolios of hygienic, convenient and cost-in-use solutions on the AFH market.  “In addition to hygiene, sustainability was also a top of mind focus,” states Dominique Deschamps, President and Managing Director, EMEA AFH business. “So this year, our stand prominently featured Green by Design, our newly launched environmental initiative and some of the concrete examples we can showcase in the three activity areas – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”
